Kyle is now 6 weeks old. As odd as it sounds, it seems like only yesterday when we brought him home from the hospital. When Renee and I look back through the photos we have taken, we can definitely see how much Kyle has grown. When we left the hospital, he weighed only 8 pounds and had no control over his body. He would wake for feedings every 2 hours, sometimes more often. Now he is over 11 lbs, and is becoming aware of the world around him. He has a firm grip and is not afraid to grab hold of any part of your face, when held close. He actually slept for over 5 hours straight last night, which is a record thus far. When we brought him home, he would eat about 1 to 2 oz of milk per feeding. Now he is eating over 5 oz per feeding. Mom and dad could not be more happy with his progress.
