7 Months Old 18Nov05

Winter is coming, like it or not. We received our first snow fall last week. Kyle is in good spirits, as he is oblivious to the coming season. He is now crawling, or what we refer to as the “Sniper Crawl”, where he is on his chest. Although we are overjoyed of this achievement, it has its drawbacks. Everything is now becoming within his reach, like it or not! He is able to pursue his curiosities, with only mom and dad to stop him. He is also becoming more vocal, and expresses his moods with “Baby-talk”. We have been encouraging this. He is eating solid baby food at an astonishing rate. He is eating 7 to 9 (4 oz) bottles of food per day! We think he is having his growth spurt. He is also learning to drink from a “sippy” cup. I can’t say that he likes the cup better then the bottle, but we are working on it. In his last visit to the doctor, he received his 6 month booster shots, and weighed in at 20 lbs. He is now 27 ½” long.

Kyle received kind gifts from Mr. and Mrs. McCarthy. They sent a set of Winnie-the-pooh pajamas, rattle and book. We have included a photo of Kyle in his pajamas, with the rattle. Karl’s Aunt Linda Vitali made a beautiful quilt Christmas stocking for Kyle. We also included a photo. Thanks!

We look forward to a wonderful holiday season. Warm wishes of health and happiness to all.
