 We spent the day at De Palm Island... Paradise with a water park.

We had fun on a mini-jeep ride around the island.

 

 

On the far side of the island, we stopped at a dry coral bed.

 

Kyle found a tide pool with a few fish to catch.

 

At the end of the tour, we were able to relax at the beach.  There was a nearby dive shop.

 

Before we got back on the ship, we explored the old Rif Fort and shopping area.

I had a little fun with this shot.  It was a real cloudy day, so the sky was overexposed compared to Kyle.  In post processing, I used a layer mask to bring out the full dynamic range that my 60D will capture.  This gives a slightly surrealistic effect to Kyle vs the background.

The Milford Fire Department had quite a hands on exhibit for the kids

 

 

Kyle posing for Dad... I have been looking to take a shot on the train tracks.  I will have to redo this with a less clouds and more of a curve to the tracks.  We found 2 pennies that were flattened by the train.
